Why is ECO mode more energy-efficient than MAX mode?
Apr 30,2025
Regarding MAX mode and ECO mode, I noticed that some customers are always asking, so today I will explain them separately. MAX mode and ECO mode are two modes of operation for the refrigerator. MAX mode is the strong cooling mode, and ECO mode is the energy-saving mode. Both modes can cool to the set target temperature, but the MAX powerful cooling mode has a faster cooling speed than the ECO energy-saving mode! So in order to quickly cool to the set target temperature, it is necessary to choose the MAX strong cooling mode. Compared to MAX's powerful cooling mode, ECO mode is more energy-efficient. Because choosing MAX mode results in faster cooling and faster compressor speed, while choosing ECO mode results in slower cooling and slower compressor speed, resulting in lower power consumption. In fact, the power of compressor car refrigerators is not very high, mostly between 20W-60W, so they don't consume much electricity a day or a night. However, if you want to save more electricity, MAX mode and ECO mode can be used together. First, choose MAX strong cooling mode to quickly cool to the desired temperature, and then choose ECO mode for long-lasting preservation.
