Unveiling the Four Hidden Functions of the "Settings Key" in Car Refrigerators
Apr 30,2025
Many people don't know what the "settings button" on a car refrigerator actually does? Next, let's fully unlock the 4 hidden functions included in the car refrigerator.
Hidden Function 1: Adjust ℃ and ℉
Both F/C are temperature symbols. The difference is that F is Fahrenheit, which is a common temperature symbol for foreigners, and C is Celsius, which is our common temperature symbol. To switch between ℉ and ℃ temperature symbols, press the settings button briefly. After setting the temperature symbol as needed, you can briefly press "+" or "-" to adjust the temperature of the refrigerator. Note: BCD60/115 car refrigerators are excluded, as these two models of refrigerators adjust the ℉/℃ according to the indicator light.
Hidden Function 2: Adjusting MAX/ECO
Our car refrigerator has two operating modes, one is MAX fast cooling mode and the other is ECO energy-saving mode. When the refrigerator is just started, we can short press the settings button to set the refrigerator operation mode to MAX strong cooling mode, allowing the refrigerator to quickly cool to the temperature we want. When the refrigerator cools down and reaches the temperature we set, You can press the settings button again to switch the refrigerator's operating mode to ECO mode, which not only provides long-lasting freshness but also saves energy and electricity.
Hidden Function 3: Adjust High, Medium, and Low Voltage
When the refrigerator display screen jumps with an Er1 code error, it is not because the refrigerator is broken, but because the voltage is insufficient. At this time, we need to short press the setting button to lower the refrigerator voltage by one level. Thanks to this high (H/V three), medium (M/V two), low (L/V one), and three-level voltage protection system, when we park and forget to cut off the refrigerator power, we don't have to worry about the refrigerator running continuously, which will drain the car battery. Because when the car battery voltage is too low, the refrigerator display screen will automatically jump with an Er1 code error, and the refrigerator will stop running accordingly.
Hidden Function 4: Switch between Left and Right Box Temperature Control
The setting button function is designed for dual control car refrigerators, such as our W series dual door dual control car refrigerator and T series single door dual control car refrigerator. For these two series of dual control refrigerators, we can short press the setting button to switch the temperature control of the left and right compartments. Knowing the "settings button" of the car refrigerator, which includes these 4 hidden functions, how should the car refrigerator be operated? Easy to handle!
